This week I tested the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel with the new Matte Top Coat. A matte finish is very fashion at the moment, so I was curious about this one. I wash my hands quite often, so whenever I use nail polish it’s there for one day and then it’s gone. So I was ready to try and see if this Miracle Gel really is a Miracle as they say.
I tried some different colors and used the Matte Top Coat with all of them. I can say I am positively surprised! The Gel stayed on my nails for a week and then I had to remove it for work, but it looked still good and untouched!
You’re two simple steps away from having a gel-ish, matte manicure.
Apply two thin layers of the Miracle Gel (in your favorite color) to clean, unpolished nails.
Apply a layer of the Miracle Gel Matte Top Coat to activate. (This also helps the nails dry faster)
Tip: Use a base coat before you apply the gel, otherwise when you want to remove the gel it leaves a light tone of the color you used.
About the colors; I loved the red and blue! They are not to bright and not to dark, the color you see on the outside is the color you get. The light pink color was more white then pink though, so I didn’t really like that one.
